Description
METASEQUOIA glyptostroboides ‘Gold Rush’, also called dawn redwood, belongs to the few conifers to drop their foliage in winter.
In autumn, the leaves usually yellow, turn copper red. Unlike many other golden foliage plants, it does well in full sun and does not scorch. The more sun the plant gets, the more yellow its leaves will be.
It’s an excellent structure tree that will bring a bright spot into your garden. Dawn redwoods do well in wet grounds.
