Description
CORNUS officinalis ‘Gold Puff’, also called dogwood (vernacular name), flowers yellow in mid-winter on bare wood. It then turns into a real attraction by bringing light to the garden.
Then, in summer, red fruits called cornels follow. They represent an excellent source of vitamin C and are eaten ripe or almost overripe when they start to soften.
The foliage of this shrub is green and turns yellow in fall.
